Leave Loutraki and after a short stop at the Corinth Canal we reach the ancient town of Corinth, where St. Paul lived and preached for two years (Acts 18:1-18). Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla, see the remains of the first century shops, the Agora where Paul’s trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene, the temple of Apollo and the Bema.
We continue with a drive to Athens the capital of Greece. First we will visit the National Garden, the Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, the Parliament, the Catholic Cathedral, the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. We will also do a short stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Our experienced guide will take you then to Acropolis in order to see the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Mars Hill (Acts 17:22) where Apostle Paul delivered his well known sermon. Then you will walk to Plaka, a picturesque area under the slopes of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora, where St Paul preached and met his followers, exchanging ideas and discussing about the new religion. In the afternoon return to Loutraki
